We believe this transaction will deliver great value to our customers, as the combined company will have extensive capabilities, a broad technology portfolio and an intense focus on delivering innovative solutions for your high precision applications.

Until the transaction is completed, which is anticipated in the second quarter of 2016, Newport and MKS Instruments will remain separate companies and will co nduct business as usual.
