SPI Lasers commitment to producing premium quality Fiber Lasers backed by outstanding customer service has been further underlined this week by appointing Matt Shakespeare as ‘Head of Service’. This new role is pivotal in ensuring this expanding company co
ntinues to offer its customers market leading levels of service and support.
As Head of Service Matt will be respo
nsible for leading SPI Lasers customer support teams across the globe, ensuring customers receive o
nly the highest standards of technical support and training. He brings over 20 years experience of innovating and delivering services which add value to customers in the semico
nductor and scientific instrument sectors.
Most recently Matt served as Service Business Manager at Oxford Instruments and previously held roles in service management, product management and business development at Edwards Vacuum & Thermo Electron Corp.
